At the SRC boathouse in Riverpoint Marina

There will be on-the-water teaching of rowing technique, land-based training to learn conditioning, and strength exercises that enhance the mastery of rowing in racing shells. The fee for each camp is $125. Athletes must be competent swimmers.

Jr. Crew Overview: Stockton Rowing Club's Juniors compete with Northern California junior rowing teams including Marin Rowing Association, Pacific Rowing Club, St. Ignatius High School Rowing Team, Serra High School Rowing Team, Berkeley High School Rowing Team, Oakland Strokes Crew, Los Gatos Rowing Club, River City Rowing Club, Nor Cal Rowing Club, North Bay Rowing Club, Peninsula Aquatic Center, University Prep (Redding), Humboldt Rowing Association, Capital Crew, Jack London Aquatic Center (JLAC) and Palo Alto Rowing Club.


Junior Team
The team numbers between 20-25 rowers in 7th-12th grades representing schools in San Joaquin County. The Fall Head Race Season is from August through October. Practices are weekdays after school. Spring Sprint Season begins in January and runs through May, ending with regional and national championships.

Junior Women’s and Junior Men’s Teams
Novice: First-year beginning rowers of middle school and high school age.
Junior Varsity: Second- and third-year rowers of high school age and have participated as a Novice rower or who the coaches feel have the ability to participate at this skill level.
Varsity: Third- through fourth-year rowers of high school age or who the coaches feel have the ability to participate at this skill level.
